Why does the left rear jump seat stick out from the wall of the car? Here's a pic: http://www2.pbase.com/image/18829293 http://www3.pbase.com/image/18829292 2000 year models and higher have the left seat recessed like the right side. Is there something under the left side I should be aware of? I may remove the seat and mount something there and I just want to be sure what is going on there before I start making holes. Anyone removed this seat? How hard is it to remove/replace it? Thanks for any info. Jamil |

I think it's the rear AC if I'm not mistaken...but I'm usually mistaken. Kenny |

Yep, Kennny is right. It is the rear A/C unit. You will also notice that the Alpine window above the seat will be double pained (that is where the A/C travels to get to vents, and under the left side of the vehicle you will find the A/C lines feeding the unit. |
