I had the rear seat folded down in my 00 DII and now the back of the seat with the middle seat belt won't fold back up. The seat belt is not caught on anything, it just won't release, and since it won't release, it holds the seat down. This isn't good, as my warranty ran out about 700 miles ago. If anyone knows an easy fix or can walk me through a detailed fix, please let me know! My disco is now a 3 seater! Thanks Chris |

I had the dealership look at it briefly (for free) and they determined the mechanism is bad that releases the belt, however to get to it you have to take the seat back apart. Has anyone done this? Is it difficult and where do I start? Thanks Chris |
