Anyone know how much flex should be in the chain? You can touch the chain through the fill plug. How much movement in the chain is considered normal?

does your case make a noise when you de-celerate while driving?

Yes, I know my current T-case chain has some extra slack in it. I've had it checked out by a Rover mechanic.

The reason I'm trying to find out more about the tension is because I now have a used replacement t-case, and I'd like to be sure about it's chain tension before having it installed.

I know someone who might need a used BW case or even a viscous coupling should you have one to sell.
