Ignition problem 96 disco

Ocasionaly when I turn over my ignition nothing happens but after several try's it kicks over the only thing is when it kicks over I have to keep my foot on the gas or it stalls I can always tell when it is going to happen cause when I unlock the doors the dome light flickers any ideas will help I don't want to go thru the expensive trouble shooting process.   Bill Bettridge (Billb) Dweb Lounge Member Username: Billb Post Number: 919 Registered: 02-2002 Posted on Thursday, July 31, 2003 - 02:35 pm:    Sounds like an voltage issue - is your alternator charging? Sounds like the truck is running off the battery - which will only last a short time under those conditions. Check both alt. and battery. Bill
