I was wondering where at the Grand Canyon those pictures attached to the link on the front page were taken! My wife and I have been to the North Rim near the Tuweep area (a roughly 70 mile ride down a dirt road).....and that was spectacular....they had primitive camp sites there...but we are dying to get back there. Any help finding where those pics were taken would be greatly appreciated!! Chris Brown | ||

probably not on a public site Chris as then it wouldn't be too private any more would it? pretty sure Blue, person in the pics, has an e-mail address attached to his profile that you might try and see if he's willing to divulge that spot for you. good luck. | ||

Yes, that's a private spot. South Rim, west of the main visitor's center. Plenty of scenic real estate to enjoy out there! | ||

of course not. any friend of AZ is a friend of mine. P.S. my digi cam batteries gave out after that sunrise pic over the grand canyon and I didn't feel like hiking the two miles back to the disco for the spares - but my friend took a lot of 35mm shots and I should have those soon. I'll scan & send some more to Ho. |
