Don't know the technical term for this but the two big hinges on the rear cargo door are rusting...the "looping" parts and the "pins" that keep the door on. Can either be replaced, repaired, something I can do myself, etc. And is there something "better" to replace them with? Your thoughts appreciated! |

guess easy enough to replace with original ones and they should at least last the same amount of time, as the ones you have got, not sure if any one else would make a replacement, maybe someone could fabricate some new ones ? |

if it is early rust you can wire brush (or dremel) down to good metal and recoat with spray primer (i use gray rustoleum). lube them up and re-install and you should be OK. if they are really shot this won't work... |
