"Service Engine" light

To make the light go away, I found instructions on in Disco Web's "Tech" section, but have a quick question: What should I use to connect the two metal prongs in the Emissions Mantenance Reminder box? It simply wasn't there? What the FU^*? Where is it? There was a green one for a fan, but no emissions box at all.
