please help
I need new tires on my DII 16"'s.
I have Michelin right now and I'm not sure if there's any prferences on considering another one of these brands. I have someone her on DWed offering me a set of 265/75/16 Pirelli. Should I go for it? or should i get the goodyear's or stick with Michelin's.

John, it depends on what you are using the tires for. If you are just mainly doing street driving, with maybe some very tame off-roading, I would stick with Michelins. They are a very long wearing tire with a good tread pattern. You can often get 50-60k miles. The goodyears wear very quickly and are susceptible to cupping. At most you can expect 30-40k miles. I don't have experience with the Pirellis.
The problem with the Michelins is that they are NLA, but the dealer should be able to locate some for you.
If you are looking for off-road tires, that's a completely different ballgame, and you could read the archives for weeks on the subject.
