Has anyone managed to fix their warped D1 dash without doing a full replacement? A warranty claim is not going to be applicable for me as I'm not the original owner. Thanks for any info! |

Yes, at our dealership we have repaired many by removing the windscreen & having a plastic repair shop re-glue the dash, then refit screen. Cost is minimal compared to a new dash. |

Chris You can buy a dashboard repair kit for the D1 in the UK from a company called Devon 4x4. (www.devon4x4.com) Devon 4x4 have the exclusive rights to these kits in the UK, however the kits are actually sourced from the States. Somebody on this board must know the US supplier/manufacturer? Land Rover World mag has a feature on fitting one of these kits in the latest issue. Damn sight cheaper and easier than a full dash swap. Kev |

Chris, Kev, et al- The only place I have seen in the us that sources the devon kit is at roverconnection: http://www.roverconnection.com/Disco%20Acc%20Pix/rcdsh.htm I need to get a kit but I keep putting it off b/c I'm lazy about my potato chip dash. r- Ray |

Cool. I've seen that Devon kit on another parked Disco, but always thought it was someone's home-made fix. |
