Strange. This morning the SRS light stays on--all other warning lights (which normally come on at startup) are dead. Speedo and tach both dead. Truck runs and drives fine, however. Does this sound like a simple SRS reset or something more sinister? |

I would check your battery, and you alternator to start with....but it sounds like a very bad ground. |

Hmm, this sounds familiar. Happened to me a few years back. Alternator was shot, so I had low battery voltage. Low voltage on starting causes the SRS light to come on, and the failed alternator causes the speedo and tach to be inoperative. Replace the alternator - after checking its output - and the speedo and tach should be restored to function....the SRS lamp requires a trip to the dealer to be extinguished...mine is still on |
