At least that's my theory. Tried to start and would crank but not fire up. No fuel pump noise when turning on the ignition. Noticed that the side lights failed to flash when setting alarm with remote. After screwing with it by locking, unlocking, side lights seemed to return to normal pattern when locking, three flashes. 2 hours later, gave up and called for a tow. Towed to a dealership (hey, I was desperate, away from home, on a trip with the wife and kid's). Rolled it off the truck at the dealership, and the bitch (the truck) started right up. Has anyone else experianced a similar failure? What do you think about the alarm being the cause of this? |
