Yesterday we were out on the trail and a DII that was with us had his rear airbags sag. We turned the truck off and it never came back up. Throughout the trail he had a flat fat ass. Any ideas how to get it back up before it gets taken to the dealer. Charles |

check for leaks in the air bags, broken SLS sensors and see if the compressor is working. Other than that, it sounds like a good opertunity to convert to coils. |

Thanks for the post Al. What/where is the SLS sensor. Where is the compressor? |

The sensors are on the rear radius arms. If you look under the rear wheel well (just rear of the shock but forward of the air spring) you'll see a small box with a hinged arm. The arm is attatched to the radius arm while the small box is attatched to the frame. The compressor is located under the driver seat under the vehicle. If you look up under the vehicle you'll see a box attatched to the frame. There are 3 (I think) small pipes going from that box to the rear along the frame that you can trace to each air spring and to the DS rear tail light area. Also check that fuses are okay. |
