when the water pump blew up last week Got a new pump in, but the spray of coolant over the compartment stinks when engine gets hot. I'm sure it will burn off in time, but is there aything I can do now to speed up the process? Is there a safe engine compartment wash or something? Your thoughts are appreciated! |

Cool...i that something that I need to get at an auto parts store or the supermarket. Also, is it o.k. to spray/rinse all over or do I need to cover certain areas (battery, electrical components, etc)? |

just be a bit careful. i don't recommend power washing the hell out of it. as long as it is just rinsing you should be fine. check to make sure your cover for your fuses in the engine bay is in place. |

Remember that simple green is corrosive to aluminum, so make sure you wash it off completely. |
