I have recently seen the oil light come on randomly while driving. It is faint seems to go away just as randomly as it comes on. I have checked the oil and it appears to be fine. Where should I start looking? It is a 95 Disco by the way.

replace the oil sender unit on the motor. That would be my first guess. |

the sending unit is the likely cause... but it can also be a clogged oil screen or worn bearings.
