DI models/ years/ problems

What can you guys tell me about DI years/ models & what too look out for/ steer clear of. it will be a family car, not a trail rig. I have an 88RRC and do all my own repairs, so i'm not too scared to get into the Disco's guts n grime, just wanna know what to look for. Thanks a million.
