Anyone? Okay... I managed to remove the ball but now I have the sleeve to remove from the yoke(?). I was hopeing they would both come out together. I'm only one piece away from putting this thing back with new parts. BTW, the sleeve has 3 scores on the inside. I don't know if this is there to allow the removal of the centering joint or if it's there to allow grease to move about. The Land Rover yoke has no grease fittings but has a (very) small hole in the back end. Has anyone seen a greasable centering joint on a DC shaft? |
