I have a 94 Disco with keyless entry. I would like to use my key to lock and unlock my doors but the passenger side (and only) keylock is free turning and will not engage the lock. It feels like something could have come loose in the lock. Has anyone here fixed one of these before? I'd rather not have to change my lock. | ||

I received an email from the group about this problem a month or so ago. Seems like there is a small retainer ring that breaks and you can make a longer lasting replacement out of wire. I have yet to check it out. Both my driver's door and rear door turn freely. |
