I think maybe the front ones are a smaller diameter, not sure about the rears. Larger spring OD tends to be more flexible.

From my veiwpoint; there are dozens of LR springs available at a cost of ~$25(ordered from UK). What more could anyone want?

I think D2 springs would fit fine on a RRC, not sure on the lift. I have OME 781s on my RRC rear which are spec'd for a D2 and they're fine. The front OMEs are spec'd the same for all coilers except a 110. If you were thinking of buying new D2 springs for your RRC, just go OME they're better. If you found a deal on some used ones they'll fit. As far as the LR springs from the UK, I tried that route first - they sucked. With any reasonable load I was almost on the bump stops.

i had super sagging original springs on the rear of my 89 rangie. i had a set of rear OEM D2 springs in the garage and so installed them temporarily on the rangie. works fine w/ a little bit of lift... well, dunno because i wouldn't know where to base original height but it was definately higher than the front w/ OEM springs.
if you want something temporary and have a free set of d2 springs laying around... go for it.
if you'r spending $$... just get OME's.
i hated the d2 springs they were too stiff and bouncy unladen. under load it was better.
steve, did you try the HD UK springs for the RR?
then a 2000 D2 rear spring is better made.

now i have 764's w/ ome shocks and it's much better.
