First it seems people were hiding from the MSBlast (aka Love San) worm and now the NE gets hit with a blackout. I thought I was imagining things and wondered if I had inhaled too much of that gunky carpet glue. All is fine down here. No power problems, no virus or worm problems. I did have a few days of very slow AOL service. I noticed the web is a bit slower this week as well. I set up my computer to automatically log directly into McAfee websight whenever there are any changes. That happens maybe 2-3 times per month, and updates have always been quick. This week was a whole new ball game, auto logins to McAfee several times a day and some of them were LONG sessions. Whatever it was doing worked. I signed onto sight manually just to make sure and had it scan my entire hard drive. Strange happenings with the power grid. The worm is pretty easy to remove from Win2k or XP PC. So I wouldn't think you need to reformat. The attack is really on Microsoft and should have started at 10am ET today since it's already Saturday morning in AU.
