The check engine light in our 1999 4.6HSE RR's engine recently came on, and we brought it to our local LR dealership. They said that one of the cylinders (#7) had a possible sticking valve, and they gave a repair estimate. However, they said that it wouldn't be a problem and a repair wasn't necessary. The car feels relatively normal, but sometimes when it's stopped it vibrates more than it used to. Is this anything I should really be concerned about? I'm thinking that it might be a good idea to get it repaired before any other problems developed, but I just wanted to get some idea of how major the problem was. Thanks in advance. |
