I am interested in pulling a trailer hitch mount from a wrecked Disco to add to a hitchless 2003 Disco II S. The 2003 Disco S frame is pre-drilled for a hitch mount but I didn't know which models would fit. Can I use the bits from any Disco II (or maybe even a Disco I) or should I keep my eyes out for a 2003? |

Dirk, Should be able to use any Disco II. Just make sure you get all the bolts, and a damn long breaker bar or air wrench. Cheers, Kennith |

Dirk, I have an '03 Disco S. I installed a receiver hitch and light hookups last night. A friend of mine who owns a disco, I forgot what year it is (2000 or later), put a new rear bumper on the back of his disco. He sold me his old receiver hitch and light hookups. We put them on last night. Everything was compatible. The only thing was that we put in a different converter box. I know there are problems with the old disco converter boxes. JRS |
