i know that i have some kind of leak in the distributor cap.... '95 disco... but when i wash under the hood it shuts off, i dry under the cap. no visible condensation or liquid. and then start it right up... but when approachin' mud i hit @ the correct speed..... not flying, but some speed is needed... anyway, it stalls and i start it right back up... the problem is that i loose all of my momentum..... some help... thanx! | ||

Mine died a couple of weeks ago in a puddle. A big kinda deep puddle actually after a big rain. It was right in town at the bottom of a hill. Really embarassing, other traffic went right on and here is big bad Land Rover stalled (I did hit it a little harder than they did I think). Didn't take but a little cranking and it started. But I drove off with mud on my face metaphoricly. |
