I test drove another Discovery today. The only thing I could find wrong with it, other than an oil leak, was water in the floor board. This was on the passenger side near the console. The water was hot. The A/C was running and I thought it may be from that because it had no odder or anti-freeze color to it. What would cause this and how would you fix it?

The drains for the AC could be clodded. There are two of these drains and are located under the vehicle above the transmission housing. That is what had happen to mine on a 1997 disco.

Will,

Its in the floor, about 3 inches forward of where the transmission cable goes into the transmission, on the driver's side. Its a cone-shaped rubber fixture, just give it a flick and a load of water will drain out all over youu arm. Fiddle around under there from beneath and you will find it, but its hard to see visually coz its small and black (and in my case covered with mud)
