Hello. I have a sound coming from under my vehicle towards the front. When it is idling it isn't as loud, but when I give it gas or accelerate it gets louder and faster the more gas I give it. It sounds like an exhaust leak, but I was wondering if anybody had some suggestions. It's a 99 D2.

either your manifold or collector gasket. unless you have a crack in the manifold.

Could be a collector gasket ($8.50 from rovers north)or check to see if you lost an O2 sensor. Is the Check Engine light on?

The check engine light usually comes on when I'm accerating up a hill. But after several start ups the light resets. I try to really gas the vehicle to get it to go off on level surfaces but it only goes off on the hills. My vehicle is still under warranty. Is this something the dealership can fix in one day?

first check the code(s). even though it may not be "on" it is still stored in there. pull the code and see what the issue is and then proceed. better to have an idea of what is up before heading off to the dealer.
