Tons of places. Pretty much anyplace that sells exhaust. Look for Discount Rovers, British Pacific, Atlantic British, and Rovers North in the vendor section.

But why? As if a performance exhaust will make a difference on a D1. The only thing that they have going for them is sound and longevity.

I don't know that any aftermarket manifolds i.e. headers are available, but I do know the Borla makes a cat back exhaust "direct fit" exhaust for the rover. BUT the reality is that if you can just replace the muffler with a magnaflow and replace the resonator wiht a tip you can save a lot of money and get a great sound and increased performance. I just did it with my 96 disco and it sounds great. Since I just started doing mufflers at my shop, i'm going to try a Flowmaster next to see the difference.

From D-90.com archives:

"Only headers I've found in the US are Hedman Headers. Summit Racing (mail order house) 1-800-230-3030 has them for around $85 or so. Part number 39800. These are for a '87 Range Rover, but may work for the D90. There's other sources in the UK and Australia if you want to pay high bucks and high shipping. You can also have them "Jet coated" for around $300 but that's way too rich for my blood. (Jet coat is a high temp ceramic coating). I think the Jet Hot makes them lot's quieter.

Good luck, Dave... Doug Marbourg[SMTP:marbourg@lanl.gov] added:
Yes the Rangie headers are out there, and they will work for the D90...My pair should be in in about a month...Call headman directly (their service number, not the dealers) and chat with them.

The part number is: 39806 (I'm not sure if it's coated or non-coated)...If your still having trouble call Bill Rhoads at (505)471-3888...He'll give ya' a screamin' deal on them too!"

Has anyone tried on the Disco?

Not sure what your goal is, but with all else left equal - addition of headers will reduce your low end torque (needed for slow speed - off road) and generally are just a big PIA to work around.

Many thanks for all response and suggestion !.

My Disco fitted with a full Janspeed exahust system. However, the manifold developed with a big crack recently. I am thinking whether to replace the manifold only or try another system.

Bill - the Janspeed just doing fine along with the mid-range camshaft at low rev.
