Can I make it on 1 cooling fan?

I plan to replace the viscous coupling in the morning. Do you think a Disco can make it from Florida to the TN Adventure Rally and back on only 1 cooling fan? How big of a job is it to replace the fan? I haven't had aux fans on my truck for 4 years, and it has not even started to overheat. But I am anal about cooling system maintanance. If your belt driven fan is working with the new viscous, all should be fine. Also you can remove the thermostat to get a lot more flow thru the radiator as a temporary fix. Did it have anything to do with the electric fan? I don't know but if I were you I would go get one and replace it just to be safe. I'm not sure where you are in FL but perhaps you could pick one up from him before your trip up just in case. I checked the radiator and found that it was blocked by mud and debris. I changed the visc. fan clutch and cleaned out the radiator fins. I made the trip from Florida to the Tennessee Adventure Rally just fine. I'll definately check with Robert on a used fan. By the way, the TN Adventure Rally was a total blast! Thanks, Mike B.
