Can I mix eom with after market rotors between the front & rear brakes? Rear are now below limits 92KM on them. Considering cross drilled for the rear, Raybestos Brutestop and matching pads. The front where replaced last year with OEM pads and rotors. A vender in B.C.?

I don't see what difference it would make having different style rotors on the rear. But, I also don't see what benefit spending the extra cash on cross drilled would do for the rear though. The front is debatable. Also, I've heard horror stories of cross drilled rotors that develop cracks. Best way to go there is to get some that were forged rather than drilled...but that's not going to happen at a decent price or with any availability. |

Thanks for the info Brent! Just rechecked the rear pads. Lots of material on them. Rotors are at just under 12mm. I will recheck in 6 months. Found a small ring of blue on the r/h outer edge. I just ground it off with grinder. I saw it done at the dealer on a D2 to stop the squeaking under warranty. |
