oh thats sticking! my ignition switch on my 97D1 does not like to go passed the lock position. i know its a common problem. has anybody fixed one? or is it a replace it and forget it part?

its a common problem for them to start to wear out... Have you tried to lubricate the lock? If not buy some liquid graphite, this should help and prolong the life of the chamber... At some point in the future you are in for a replacement though.
