My wipers aren't doing the job they used to, in the rain or when I spray window washer. Is there a tension/preassure adjustment can apply? Or is it simply that after 4 months I need to get new blades? Is there a wiper life-span I should go by? |

I go thru at least 2 sets of summer blades and 3-4 sets of winter blades a year. That is one thing I find very annoying is streaking wipers. I usualy will try to clean them once with an alcohol wipe. If that don't cure it they are replaced. Mike G. 96 Disco SD |

I got my silblades from EE and have been very pleased by them. Been through winter and almost through summer and they still do their job. Glenn |

I go through at least 2-3 sets per year. I live in the southeastern U.S. and we don't have much snow, but the blades tend to cook in the summer. I buy the Bosch Microedge from AutoZone and they conform to the contour of the windshield perfectly. By the way, buy the entire replacement assembly, not just the replacement rubber part. The cost difference is minimal for the trouble saved and performance gained. |
