i am a season ticket holder for the stars, but have spent a lot of time in montreal this winter. was able to see a few games at the m-center...damn, lots of banners in that place...!
hell of a last fight in the leafs game, though!!!
i will put my .02 in for the leafs over the islanders! |

cardinals eh!! i was there for the world series win in '82. busch stadium is still a classic place. the good ol days with keith hernandez, ozzie smith. daryl porter, bruce sutter and whitey herzog as coach!! had my first Bud there when i was about 12. good stuff (not the beer). |

sucks about Busch, but it was going to happen. just like Checkerdome, now the Kiel Center. but unlike many of the stadiums built in the era that Busch was made it had some style.
i am sure they will replace it with something pretty nice. HOK Sports does about 80% of all professional stadiums. their HQ's are actually in Kansas City. they did Camden Yards, PNC Park (Pittsburgh) and so on. |
