Even the most advanced programs from Norton or McAfee cannot take care of this one. It appears to mostly affect those of us who were born prior to 1980. Symptoms are: 1. Causes you to send the same e-mail twice. 2. Causes you to send a blank e-mail. 3. Causes you to send e-mail to the wrong person. 4. Causes you to send it back to the person who sent it to you. 5. Causes you to forget to attach the attachment. 6. Causes you to hit "SEND" before you've finished. 7. Causes you to hit "DELETE" instead of "SEND." It is called the "C-Nile Virus." Leslie, there is a number 8. It is even more embarrassing. 8. Causes you to send the wrong e-mail to everyone in your address book.

I sent a smartass personal message not only to my friend at work but to EVERY prosecutor in the state of Wisconsin. Beat that...it's like 400 people statewide who got to read my response to his review of a date he went on...

Leslie, That's when you can fall back on the tried-and-true, "Well, what do you expect? I'm Les Bright." Sorry , I swear, until you brought it to my attention a million years ago, I'd have never seen that in your name. Just like my friends the Gayers, who have endured a lifetime of, "Gay-er than WHO???" I never thought of that one, either. If I had a kid, I swear, I'd be tempted to name her/him "Love". Love Jones, I think I like it! Karen |

i sent an email to a prospective girlfriend that was suppose to go to a buddy of mind. lets just say she was not amused at some of the more explicit information that was directed towards her. i tried to make it up to her by sending her 2 gallons of Penn State Cremery Ice Cream via dry ice overnighted. ultimiately did not work. neither did that weekend in Stowe! |

This story is semi email related and true. A long time buddy and I were driving to a business meeting. We were taking about who in the office we would like to screw and how, etc. We got very graphic. Long story short, he had accidentally hit speed dial on his cell phone. To his home number!!! His wife listened to the whole conversation. I am sure glad I was not anywhere near his house that night. That was about a year ago and he seems to think she will stop nagging him about it one day. No chance! I dont even setup speed dial any more. |
