I'm going to flush the coolant tonight since I've been proscrastinating doing it for months now. How much new anti/freeze should I expect to purchase to re-fill the radiator? I was thinking like 4 new jugs.

Whatever you do, use eather 50/50 mix pre mixed, or mix in yourself 50/50, but DO NOT USE WATER from your tap!!!!! Use distilled water or water from an R.O. water filter! If you use tap water, you will be introducing minerals into your system, and that leads to additional corrosion and the clogging of the expensive rad. Peter. |
