I am trying to change my rotors on a 2000 DII. Do I need to pull the hub? If not how do I get the rotors off? If so how do I get the hub off? I am having a lot of trouble. |

You don't need to pull the hub. There is a big countersunk phillips head screw that you will need to unscrew - it may take an impact driver to get it out. Then a big gear puller will pop the rotor off the hub. |

Or, if you don't have a gear puller that large you can use a BFH (3# should work). The phillips on mine were so siezed I needed to cut a slot into them and use a large flat head screw driver. Nothing else seemed to work. Pugsly's method is more correct though. |

I just went through this a few weeks back. Yes it requires a large Phillips (which I don't own) When all else fails you can simply drill the screw out, that is what I ended up having to do. Once your wheels back on the rotors aren't going to go anywhere. Good luck to you.. RS |

Are the rotors on the DII similar to those found on cars now? I mean, can they be removed without removing all those other things as on a DI? |
