Hey Al. The water according to the lifeguard stands was in the mid 70's. I heard on the news down there that this is way cooler than normal due to the Labrador current running further west than usual or something like that. If you get down to Rt. 12, just before the 168/12 junction, there is a gas station on the left with a yellow series II I think (its old, that's for certain). Wife didn't feel "we" had time for a good look. | ||

wow...there is a blast from the past...i went to grad school at old dominion and we would drive down to the radish every now and then for beers... if it is anything like it was in the early 90's, yeah...go man, go! question: is pedro's south of the border still around? mike | ||

Mike Just to let you know, yes South of the Border is still around. In fact, the Travel Channel just listed it as number 7 or 8 on its "10 Best Truck Stops in the World" The signs start 125 miles North and South on I95. It is kind of pathetically amusing. | ||
