I just installed a nrp stainless exaust on the D1 which had 100k on the old leaking one, this goes from the cats back. the only difficulty was that both bolts that are welded onto the flange from y pipe to 1st silencer snapped when force was applied to dissasemble, had to drill those suckers out, other than that the install was very easy! all is tucked up nicely and well thought out! this exaust cost me $419 and is life time garenteed, At idal it is louder, with a low deep rumble, when starting out on the gas, it it a bit louder/low rumble, once you are moving along there is little differance over stock, and highway i think that there is no differance from stock, This is just my impressions of the NRP SS system over the stock with 100k miles.
