A month ago I put a 2" OME MD spring & shock lift on my '99 Disco. The springs came labled LH RH. I assumed that would be sitting in the vehicle (LH being drivers side U.S.) When we pulled the front springs however they were different hieghts. Matching the new springs the one labled LH matched the passenger side in hieght so that's how we went. Same in the back although the springs were about the same hieght. I now have about a 1" lean to the passenger side. I called the vendor and they said it was labled that way for a RH drive vehicle. They said switch the springs. I haven't yet because I feel it's going to be worse. The taller springs went in on the passenger side. I'm sure someone else has encountered this, any advise?

Troy,
The springs were labelled that way for a reason. Switch them out and see what happens. If it turns out that you're right and it is worse, at least you will know. Besides, changing springs on a Disco is not a huge deal.

FWIW,
Zach

Check out EE @ http://www.expeditionexchange.com/ome/indexsprings.htm (where you should've bought them). John has a nice write-up on this. According to him a 10mm trim packer should do the trick. Good Luck

Wish I would have seen that before I bought! Thanks John, very insightful. My lean is about an inch so I think I will call the vendor and tell them I want another set of RH (or DS) springs (since they are taller) and see if that helps match them better. Then I'll do the shims if needed. What about the fact that I seemed to get a little more lift in the front than the back (especially loaded) should I go with HD rear or try some spacers? I don't load it except on trips maybe 4-6 times a year, after that it's a commuter.
