It would seem water is collecting at my feet when I run the a/c... I'm sure this is not a difficult problem for you guys and would appreciate your input. Also does anybody know of any places that are good for service in NW Indiana, I looked at LR website and I would rather not drive 80 miles to take my car in for service...  James | ||

James, The AC system has two drains, one on each side of the center console just about where the plastic ends and the cardboard begins. If these come loose or become blocked, its flood time. If blocked, the blockage is normally at the bottom end of the tube which is visible and accessible under the truck. It is a hose with a rubber nipple on the end. Without sounding to perverted, just play with the nipples and they will start to drain. If you want I can send you a jpeg showing the locations. But when mine plugged, I found them fairly easily. you will want to make sure you are not under the nipples when you clear them...there can be quite a lot of water trapped in there and when it starts flowing...well, let's just say, don't be under them... mike | ||

I "played" with the nipples and they drained but I soon had the wet carpet again. I suggest removing the nipples (they are clipped in) and blowing them out. I had some garbage in mine. Have not had any leak since. Jeremy PS: MAKE SURE THE TRUCK IS COLD WHEN DOING THIS!!! It is very easy to burn yourself on the exhaust...take it from me ;0) | ||

I found the nipples!! Cleared them... I was actually happy to get wet... better me wet that a broken disco!! I removed them and blew all the gunk out of them Thanks very much everyone and thatks very much to Steve for posting the pics. James | ||

Hey Steve, I was under the Disco today rotating my right-side O2 sensors and saw the nipples! Both were caked with mud and if I hadn't seen your pics I wouldn't have known what they were. All is well in Roverland again... Cheers, Shawn in Canada | ||

How many AC nipples are under a 02 Disco 2. I have only been able to find one nipple. I hope I am not retarded. |
