Does anybody know some good shops that work on Discos in NW Indiana? I'm not too keen on driving to Chicago |

Well to give everyone an idea I'm thinking of close to Valparaiso, Indiana. I think 80 miles each way is way too far for a service trip. |

First of all, I have no experience with any of these places, and I didn't call them to verify they work on Rovers (can't do all your work for you)...simply went by the name in the phonebook to give you a starting place. I'm from SW Michigan originally and have looked before in the unlikely event I break down in your neck of the woods on my way to my parents' house from Milwaukee. That said, James, there are a couple places in the South Bend / Mishawaka area, so only 25 minutes or so from you... - European Auto Werks, (574) 255-4866 - Gary's Foreign Auto Repair, (574) 257-9087 - Overseas Motor Werks, (574) 259-2275 There's another place (Lichti's Foreign Car Service, (574) 533-1041) that's in Goshen (I think it's a bit farther away). In Kingsbury, which I think is near to Valpo, there's Britpart Midwest, (219) 393-1338. In The Pines (near Michigan City, right?) there's RJ's Import Auto Service, (219) 874-4737, which claims to work on "Volkswagen and foreign cars." The above are, as I mentioned, at least a starting point for you...good luck and post your results to help all of us Great Lakes Rover drivers!

Thanks very much Andy... I'll be checking into those. Just want to take it somewhere that knows Land Rover and does not think its a Toyota. You would not believe the amount of people I have to argue with when I tell them its not a toyota its a Land Rover...lol |
