Keith, you mentioned a while back you had a NWP rack coming shortly.

Any reviews to offer? Are the mounts height-adjustable to take advantage of no-sunroof rigs?

Hey Shawn
I got it! It's a nice rack... Not height adjustable though... It will be lowered this winter as our truck is an SD without sunroofs..
The bends are sweet and the welding is good...
Check it out.

Looks sharp. I too have an SD, so I would like a rack that can be set to roof level. How has wind noise been?

Is the rack greyish, I saw other pics and they looked to be gray. I think it would look good in a dark/gunmetal grey.

Calm
I think that was the "unfinished" version of their rack that was up on the website. Now the pictures are of the rack "finished" in black and mounted to the truck. I want one for the my '00, they really do look good.

Yes, I want one as well. And despite having ordered it over a month ago, multiple phone calls and excuses, I STILL have not received it for NWP.

That's a really good value for $500. I had over $200 in materials alone and about 25 hours in my rack, including the expanded floor. I'm not sure how they're doing it, but it certainly isn't for the money!

Cheers,

e

David, I don't know this but I think that they were just bombarded with orders. They were late shipping the first of them from problems. I would give it some time. I believe they are pretty new and didn't expect the larger amount of orders. I may be WAYYYY off, but thats my impression from what I have read.

And a grey one would look awesome!!

The true Story... Andy has had his problems with fabricators... Add that to trying to do a Small Business and keep your day job and it can be a nightmare!!! Trust me I know. I ordered mine... well I forgot but it was a long time ago... But my patience was rewarded with a nice rack.... It will be easy to drop it down onto the gutters on the SD and as mentioned I will do so after the Rally in Moab. The wind noise is minimal, but the truck has BFG MT's on it plus 4:10 gears so it truely isn't as quiet as it used to be.. You can still talk at a normal level at 75 MPH.
Andy painted mine black.. But I'm sure he would entertain offers to paint a different color.. I will be powder coating mine this winter...
By the time the Rally rolls around I hope to have my flooring brackets in production and the 5 bar flooring on the rack

I'm sorry it's taking so long to fill orders...I've had a hard time finding good workers. You'd think in this 'economy' people would be willing to work!!!

David, let me know how your rack looks...I'm sorry it took so long to get it out the door. The flooring slowed us down. Excuses only satisfy the excuse maker, so to that...I apologize. I'll take care of your needs in the future (parts at my cost).
