D2 Front Driveshaft Replacement in CT?

Another question, I have heard rumors that LR will be putting out a recall on these front shafts, is this true? Did the D1s ever have a problem with this? Also are end lubed making it easier to maintain. Also have a grease fitting put in the slide joint. Finally - they can also repack the center of the CV end also. All this should run you $110 or so (at least based on local prices here).
