Has anyone seen this new tire from interco? It obviously came out to compete with the BFG Krawler. Any experiences yet? Take a look http://www.intercotire.com/html/irok.htm I've been looking for this size for my disco 21/49-20LT and luckily they carry it in the IROK. I'll need to do a little trimming though, lol. |

I saw them on a truck not long ago. At first they sucked ass. Then on the rocks they did pretty good. Then he got into some thick mud, and they sucked ass agin. IMO, if you want tires like this just get a set of SuperSwamper Bias ply's and be done with it. Put them on a second set of rims and get something good for your street tires. A tire like the IROK, Interco MT, superswamper, etc.. won't last you on the road and will be a pain in the ass to balance. But, they do great off-road. I don't know much about the XZL, but people seem to like them on the West Coast. I have never seen them out here. That tire could serve you both ways and save some cash. |

There is a review of them in one of the rags on the news stands. I wanna see those on your rig Blake. Must be a first time for sure. Are you still running the Trxs? I blew a bead on mine for the second time now. Never happend on BFG tires that I have run (MT/AT). Typically try to run around 25 psi, which is not that low IMHO. |

Yeah i still have the trxus on. They have been great for me other than not liking equal at all and wasting my 40-60 bucks for getting it and putting it in. I like them. I don't think I will be able to fit the 49's with my 4" of lift, but until Skyjacker comes out with a 4 foot lift for the disco, I'll have to settle for 33's. I am thinking about the bfg krawler as my next tire. Depending on how people like them in the months to come |
