But if you price a Discovery "GS" V8, it comes out just over £30000, which is about $45000. So Defender would probably cost proportionately less over here.

Brian, I think that to legally import one the price just about doubles due to all the work neccessary to get the vehicles up tp DOT standards.

Now, grey market is another beast all together ....
