Hey Folks,

For those of you who emailed me about my front drive shaft, I finally got the Pig back from the dealer. If you remember, out of nowhere, I got a very bad vibe while driving down I-40. Anyway, they replaced my front drive with a new, complete assy. Also replaced was the output seal, and the t-case input / ouput seal. The whole thing was covered under warranty.

The original shaft lasted 44K miles, so hopefully I'll get the same amount on this one.

Paul

Do you have a lift?

So you didn't have any questions about warrantee issues, with the lift? Is that normal these days?

Dean, the biggest questions I get from Techs these days are, "Dude, where did you get that bumper?" or "Did you install that yourself?"

Paul,
I think you are very lucky then, I dunno but I can't see my dealership being that kind!

Maybe we need a database of dealership kindness, you know whether they are mod-friendly or not, for each state. Coz I hate to swap my springs back to the originals just to get a replacement drive shaft if it ever goes.

Dean,

You need to talk to the Philly guys. They'll point you in the right direction.
