Hello,

Today I was looking at the console and pulled out one of the "empty" switch and found wires connected to it. I pulled out the other two “empty” switches to see if they also had the wires. The left bottom one has, but the right one does not. I know that the one on top is the one for the driving/fog lamps for the Disco SE/HSE models.

Does anyone know for what is the one at the bottom???

Also, if the cables are there, does that mean that it is pre-wired?

Thank you,

On mine (97 D1) Top is rear defog, 2nd down is rear fogs, 3rd down is radio volume up, and bottom is radio volume down.

Factory fog is in the ctr console opposite the ash tray.

MIght be different for yours. I would guess, though, that if wires are there it is pre-wired for something. Mine did not come with front fogs or a switch. I was digging around one day and found a wiring harness in my dash and 2 more behind my headlights. Put a switch in and connected some hellas just to see what would happen, and now I have hellas with a factory switch!
