My son, bless his little 16-year old heart, managed to run the battery in the 1994 RRC down to nothing by forgetting the headlights on in a parking lot. It was jumped back to life, but the radio does not work. I am told that it needs to have "the code reset," which has got to be a similar fix for the SRS warning light on the instrument panel.

Does anyone know how to save me (and my son) an expensive trip to the dealer? No matter what, the trips to the dealer are always expensive, especially if you are 16 years old...

Thanks

I will look for the code on my receipt or by calling the dealer. The question is, what do I do with it once I have it?

Thanks

Enter the code into the radio by punching the corresponding radio/CD preset number. Mine is a 5 digit code, 92 RRC.
