I decided to put this under "General" since it could apply to any rover.

Techs are finishing up hardwiring everything that I requested. I also asked for one more thing, which they can do -- but I have to find the "parts".

I want master cut off switches. My purpose in hardwiring equipment is so that I have "the option" of running equipment, aux lights, electronics, etc when rover is off. However I want to keep things simple so that I don't have to go around and check that all is turned off.

I want some type of master switch system, installed in area of dash or console that I can just follow the switches down and shut them all down without evening thinking about it. (just like in aircraft and boats). Has anyone does this in their rover?

Any suggestions on possibilities for this purpose? I need to find something tomorrow am to drop off for them. I would like to keep the looks as stock as possible, not like I am riding around inside some video game.

Thanks for any input, Jamie

Try Summit or Jegs.

Jamie

Hella makes one that I have used on a number of applications

while you are at it, have them install a cut off switch. I have one, and love it. Basically, you can leave your truck running with the keys in it, and when you get out you set the switch

if someone gets into your truck and touches the brake ( to get the truck out of park) the engine dies. Because they do not know where the switch is ( nor does the common car thief or schmuck) they cant reset it to start the car

its nice if you are in a cold climate and want to leave the truck running to warm up..kinda an added sence of security, even if you lock it with your second set of keys
