LOL.

Funny -- I had to do my emissions testing for my plates a couple weeks ago, and the results corroborated what Ax posted a week or so ago. There is next to no CO2 emitted by my 96 D1 with 89,900 miles on it. Granted, a hybrid won't emit that much either, but shouldn't we be compared to, say, a 79 K5 Blazer or some such "gas guzzling SUV" rather than hybrids?

I love straw man arguments...plus, wasn't Huffington a conservative Republican like 2 years ago? But I disgress... :-)

Andrew, my 79 Jeep with a 360 sported the same CO and NOx numbers as my 96 Disco, last time it was checked.
BTW, if your Disco did not emit CO2, the engine was off.

Doesn't matter either way. Nature produces 95% of all CO2 emitted.

Humans spew approx 300 million TONS of CO2 every year just by exhaling.
