My '94 disco lives outside, and has no clear-coat on its paint. It oxidizes pretty heavily. I used to break out the porter-cable buffer, meguirs pads, meguirs medium cut cleaner, and buff the hell out of it to get a shine back once a year or so, then put on some zaino or other polymer wax. At my local hardware stores recommendation, I tried TR-3. Right over the oxidation. Spread on, wipe off. Nothing short of amazing! The shine is back, in a fraction of the time it used to take. I wouldn't neccessarily use the stuff on a councours quality car, but on an older oxidized Land Rover, perfect! Just thought I'd pass along the tip. |
