I want to put a winch on my 2003. I can't find a setup for it anywhere. I saw some pics from TREK this year and it looked as if they had the old a-frame winch setup. Could anyone help me in any way with pics, links, advice. Thanks |

How about swapping in a winch bumper? Check the resources link at the top for vendors, as there are more winch bumpers than you can "shake a stick at". If you want to remain "stock", not sure the best way to go about mounting the winch. -Luke |

www.safarigard.com then go to the project vehicles, check out the '03 silver disco (badass) with the LR adventure rack, safarigard bumper, and about everything else you'd need to go anywhere. Good luck with the winch. |

Thanks for all of the help. I talked to my dealer today and the setup like on this year's TREK Disco's is about $3,800 from them. It seems I would be much better off going ahead and replacing my front bumper even though I really didn't want to go down that road. Thanks again, Hill |

You could probably just buy the A-frame winch cradle from your dealer, then buy the winch on your own. I'm sure they are charging a nice mark-up on the Warn winch. |
