Hi all, '94 D1 with distributor. Pretty sure my ignition amp module is cooked. I was wondering if anyone knew the resistance between pins on the module and what the coil measures as well. Thanks again, Blake |

Ran through the fault diagnosis in the factory manual: test 1 - no spark test 2 - all V's ok test 3 - ignition off, 12V between battery pos. and coil neg. Should be 0V. Not sure how to interpret this. Also, didn't see voltage climbing significantly. test 4 - pickup resistance ok The coil has a resistance of 1 ohm. Module has a resistance of ~250k ohm on the outer pins and 15.14k ohm on the inner two. I'm leaning towards the amplifier module, but it could also be the coil. Any experience out there? Cheaper is better. |
